Mandate: To safeguard and modernize the governing rules of CUPE Local 1048.
The Bylaw Committee meets to perform comprehensive reviews of our Local’s bylaws, ensuring they remain compliant with the National Constitution and responsive to the needs of a modern workforce. In addition to reviewing these core governing documents, the committee works to update and refine the language in our policies and procedures manual. This vital work ensures that our Union operates with transparency, consistency, and clear rules that protect the democratic rights of every member.
