Collective agreements

Your collective agreement sets out your rights and responsibilities at work.  It is the result of a collective bargaining process between the union and the employer.  During the bargaining process, a committee representing the employer and elected members of the union present proposals to amend and strengthen the existing contract.  Wages, benefits, safety issues, equality in the workplace and other issues are negotiated at the bargaining table.

If you have questions or concerns about your treatment in the workplace, please talk to your steward or a member of the executive.
