The Municipal Policy and Advocacy Committee (MPAC) meets regularly to review City Council agendas and minutes to identify upcoming changes that may impact our membership. By analyzing these public records, the committee explores strategic directions and innovative ideas for Union participation in the municipal process. Our goal is to ensure that the expertise of front-line workers is shared with elected officials early, allowing us to move from a reactive past to a proactive future where our voices help shape the policies affecting our jobs and our community.
