September General Meeting Update
Sonja Towle was nominated and elected into the 1 year Trustee position, thank you Sonja.
Michelle Leinwebber was nominated and elected to the 18th Ave Health and Safety committee.
Karen Welch and Scott Hunyadi were nominated and elected to the City Hall Health and Safety Committee.
Motion presented to and passed by the membership to pay a portion of the Executive cell phone bills.
Motion presented to and passed by the membership to do a fall pumpkin giveaway.
Membership survey presentation by the Strategic Planning Committee.
September 24 General Meeting
Save the date! General meeting September 24. We are looking at doing a hybrid meeting ZOOM and in person.
In person space in Council Chambers is LIMITED. If you can join via ZOOM, please do so.
No food is provided at this meeting due to restrictions with COVID and the sharing of food. Please bring your own dinner or snack.

We need Shop Stewards to represent our members. Please come support your fellow co-workers.
When we have enough interest, we can get level 1 training here in town. You will be provided with the tools and resources to become an effective Shop Steward.

The Bargaining committee has met and discussed bargaining for the upcoming term.
They have the results of the Bargaining Survey that was sent out.

Special Meeting
We need to form a Bargaining committee. We need one person and one alternate person to participate in Bargaining.
A special meeting will take place on Monday July 27, 2020 for nominations and elections for these two positions.
We are working out the logistics of holding hybrid meetings (in a room or outdoor and via Zoom). Hopefully we have something worked out for the September membership meeting!!
